Getting to Los Angeles Airport

The Frugal Option

LAX offers buses with conveniently scheduled round-trips every day of the week between it's terminals and Hollywood (West side of Vine St. - One-half block South of Hollywood Blvd.), Long Beach (Northwest corner of 1st St. and Long Beach Blvd. at Shelter A of the Long Beach Transit Gallery), Union Station (Downtown Los Angeles), and Van Nuys (San Fernando Valley). This service is called LAX FlyAway Bus. You can board the buses on the lower level (arrivals) in front of each terminal where you'll find the blue FlyAway Bus columns. Each bus it marked with its service location.

Rides as low as $66 with Mozio's local partners Elife Limo and KiwiTaxi.

From 5am to 11:30pm. Single rider tickets start at $9.75 per ride. Bear in mind, you may need to show a proof of purchase or ticket (electronic or printed out) to the bus controller. Sales are final and do not accept refunds, tickets can be used within 30 days of purchase.

Booked through Mozio, BookTaxi Group offers an All Inclusive sedan for up to three passengers with one piece of luggage each for $117. Rideshare & Taxi Pickup Instructions

Only Lyft, Uber, and Opoli are allowed into LAX. The instructions that need to be followed can be found while using the apps that indicate the designated pickup location, most of the times at the LAX-it area. To get there, you can either walk or take the free shuttle and wait at the green LAX-it sign on the lower level of each terminal. Uniformed employees wearing green vests will assist people with special needs.

Taxis drop-off on the upper level (departures) of each terminal curb and can be hailed from three locations: LAX-it next to Terminal 1 (you can walk there or ride the free shuttle that runs every 3 minutes); inside Parking Structure 3 (between Tom Bradley International Terminal and Terminal 3); At the far end of Terminal 7 outside of baggage claim.

Distance between terminals can be extensive if you're tired or in a crunch for time. Feel free to make use of the shuttles that run between terminals every 10 to 15 minutes. This service is free to assist passengers. Just board the Airline Connections "A" Shuttle under the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections blue sign on the lower level (arrivals) islands in front of each terminal. In addition to DFS Duty Free shops both on the arrivals and departures area, you'll find a curated selection of shops in varied categories such as High end Fashion (Hermes, Gucci, Burberry, Bvlgari, Coach), Fashion and Accessories (L.A. Original, MAC, Michael Kors, Sunglass Hut), numerous press stands and pharmacy.

A selection of cafes, restaurants, and fast food joints, are available at LAX. Cafe shops include Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, The Coffee Bean, Deli & Co, Pret-a-Manger.. For tapas and beer you can hit Corona Bar, Coles. Fast Food options include 8oz. Burger Bar, 800 Degrees Pizza, Carl's Jr., Chick-fil-A, KFC, Shake Shack. The restaurant choice includes Ashland Hill, B Grill by BOA Steakhouse, Campanille, Chaya Sushi.

Car Parking

Eight parking lots provide ample parking space for a whooping 7999 parking spaces. Parking P1 (1432 places), P2-A (735 places), P2-B (490 places), P3 (905 places), P4 (1160 places), P5 (673 places), P6 (899 places) and P7 (1705 places). All parking lots offer a 15 minute free period after which the first hour is charged at $5 and $4 each 30 minutes after that. The maximum charge being $40 for 24 hours.

Economy Lot E provides less space but at a more cost-effective rate with a base fee of $4 per hour with a maximum of $12 for 24 hours.

Lounges

A number of lounge options are available on each terminal. The Regional Terminal hosts the American Admirals Club. Terminal B: Xpress Spa (level 4), OneWorld Alliance Lounge (level 5), Star Alliance Lounge (Level 6), Sky Team Lounge (level 5), Emirates Lounge (level 6), Ethiad Airways Lounge (level 6), Qantas Lounge (level 5). Terminal 2-3 Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (level 4), Delta Sky Club (level 4). Terminals 4-8 American Admirals Club, Alaska Airlines Lounge (both on level 3), LA International Lounge (level 6), United Club (level 3), Delta Sky Club (level 4), Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (level 3), United Polaris Lounge (level 3).

Baggage Storage

As most airports after 9/11, LAX does not allow baggage storage in the premises.
