Barcelona - El Prat Airport Information

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona airport most popularly known as El Prat Airport is the gateway to Barcelona and the Spanish Mediterranean airspace. Serving an average of 52 million passengers per year, it ranks as one of the highest airports in growth and is amongst the European leading airports. The latest construction in 2004 including a third runway allowed for the expansion to 90 operations per hour and the expansion of Terminal T1, located in between the runways, allowed to expand its capacity to 33 million users per year on that terminal alone.
